Day 1: Arrival Addis Ababa and City Tour

On arrival Addis Ababa EAET representative will meet you at Bole international Airport and transfer to the Hotel, start visiting the city from National Museum, where Ethiopia’s oldest resident, Lucy is housed, Ethnological Museum at Addis Ababa University, continue with Holy trinity church and you will enjoy a panoramic view of the capital with fresh air hill top of Mount Entoto. Overnight stay on reserved Hotel

Day 2: Debre Libanos

After breakfast drive to the north of Addis Ababa to Debre Libanos Monastery. On the way visit Sululta plain one of the best site for birding. Return to Addis Ababa. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 3: Entoto

Drive to Entoto Park on the north fringe of Addis Ababa for bird watching in the forest and the surrounding plains. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 4: Gefersa

Drive to Gefersa dam and watch the abundant water birds. Continue to Ambo. On the way you will have ample opportunity to see different species of birds. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 5: Wonchi

Drive to Wonchi Creator Lake to visit the avifauna in that environment and the beautiful lake itself. Then drive to Addis Ababa for overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Ankober

Drive to north east of Addis Ababa to Ankober, where you would experience magnificent scenic beauty and some endangered bird species like Ankober Serin. Drive back to Addis Ababa. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 7: Debre ziet

Drive to Debreziet to the Rift Valley lakes and observe abundant water birds, some of them are migratory from Europe. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 8: Langano

Full day visit of water birds at Lakes, Langano, Shala and Abyata. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 9: Wondo Genet

Drive to Wondo Genet area to observe forest bird species. Lovely weather, hot spring and landscape and view of coffee plantation will be additional experience for clients. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 10: Awassa

Drive to Awassa: Before and after lunch birding of the abundant indigenous and migrant aquatic birds in the surrounding of Lake Awassa. Boat trip is part of your stay in Awassa. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 11: Yabello

Drive to Yabello: where you would experience watching the bird species of the juniper forest. You would also see the endangered endemic species Prince Ruspoli’s Turaco. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 12: Konso

Drive to Konso through Teltele road. This trip would give additional opportunity to watch juniper forest and plain birds. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 13: Arba Minch

In the afternoon birding on the shore of lake Chamo and Abbya. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 14: Nech Sar National Park

Drive to Nech Sar National Park. This trip to the park would give you the chance to visit many different species of birds including the Nech Sar Nightjar, an endemic species identified only in 19 91. Return to Arba Minch. Overnight stay on reserved hotel

Day 15: Drive back to Addis Ababa

After breakfast drive back to Addis Ababa. Evening we will have fare well dinner in one of the Ethiopian restaurant for cultural dances from the different ethnic groups. Then transfer to the airport for flight back home.
