Details
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Transfer to Nguchiro Palace Hotel. Relax or explore local markets.

Day 2: Marangu Gate → Mandara Hut
Drive to Marangu Gate (1,860m), then trek through rainforest to Mandara Hut.

Day 3: Mandara Hut → Horombo Hut
Trek through moorlands with giant lobelias and senecios, reaching Horombo Hut.

Day 4: Acclimatization at Horombo Hut
Hike to Zebra Rocks (4,200m) to improve acclimatization and enjoy panoramic views.

Cross the alpine desert to Kibo Hut, your base for the midnight summit attempt.

Day 6: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak → Horombo Hut
Midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) via Stella Point. Descend to Horombo Hut after rest at Kibo.

Visit a local coffee farm and the Kikuletwa Hot Springs for a relaxing swim.
