Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa and City Tour

Explore the Entoto Museum, the historic Church of St. Mary, built in 1885, and the old palace of Emperor Menelik II. Days 3-5: Mulu Eco Village Experience

Overnight in Injibara City.
Day 7: Scenic Views at Tirba Haik and Historic Church Visit
Travel to Lake Tirba (Tirba Haik), a serene crater lake nestled in lush forestlands above 2000m ASL. Continue to Dangula Yohannes Church and explore the impressive Dangula Cave, a significant patriotic refuge during the Italian Occupation (1936-1941). Overnight in Injibara City.
Day 8: Awi Horse Riding Festival
On Tir 23 (around January 30/31), witness the exhilarating Awi Horse Riding Festival where over 5,000 riders come together in a magnificent display of tradition and culture, commemorating the region’s rich history. This event is a must-see for every visitor during this time. After the festival, drive to Bahir Dar. Overnight at a hotel (trip concludes).
