Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Sightseeing in Addis (The New Flower)
Welcome to Ethiopia! Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Freshen up and prepare to explore Addis Ababa. Visit Mount Entoto for a breathtaking panoramic view, the National Museum to see the ancient hominid fossil ‘Lucy,’ the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the Ethnographic Museum located in Emperor Haile Selassie’s former palace. Conclude your day at the bustling Merkato, the largest open-air market in East Africa.

Day 2: Addis Ababa to Chebera Churchura National Park
Leave Addis Ababa in the morning via one of the scenic routes and enjoy lunch en route. Arrive at Chebera Churchura National Park in the late afternoon to take in the stunning scenery from the park headquarters and your campsite.

Day 3: Chebera Churchura National Park
Embark on a morning hike to Meka and Erka Forests to observe a variety of mammals including elephants, hippos, buffalo, and lions, along with diverse bird species. Return to camp for lunch and later explore the hot springs, waterfall, and nearby birding sites.

Day 4: Chebera Churchura National Park
Spend the morning exploring the Borbo Falls and Bulo Lake regions to spot more wildlife and birds. After lunch, venture into other parts of the park, following footpaths or driving through dry weather roads to fully appreciate the vast wilderness.

Day 5: Chebera Churchura National Park to Maze National Park
Depart in the morning to Maze National Park, known for the endangered Swayne’s hartebeest. Overnight at Bekele Mola Hotel.

Day 6: Maze National Park to Arba Minch – Nech Sar National Park
