Welcome to Ethiopia! Upon arrival, our representative will meet and transfer you to your eco-conscious hotel. Begin your exploration of Addis Ababa with a drive up to Mount Entoto for a magnificent panoramic view of the city. Descend to visit the National Museum, home to the famous โLucyโ fossilโa link to our ancient past. Next, discover the Holy Trinity Cathedral, an architectural marvel built during WWII. Continue to the Ethnographic Museum, once the palace of Emperor Haile Selassie. Complete your day with a visit to Merkato, the largest market in East Africa.
Embark on a scenic drive to Bahir Dar, passing through the enchanting Entoto Mountain range and lush forests. Visit the Debre Libanos Monastery, founded in the 13th century. Explore the monasteryโs museum filled with ancient biblical manuscripts and religious artifacts. Continue your journey through the Blue Nile Gorge, with a stop for lunch in Dejen, then proceed to Bahir Dar.
After breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Tana to visit the 14th-century Monastery of Ura Kidane Mihret, renowned for its stunning frescoes. In the afternoon, drive to Tis Isat Village to witness the Blue Nile Falls. (Note: Water volume may be reduced due to dam construction).
Overnight in Bahir Dar

After an early breakfast, drive to Axum, a city over 2500 years old. Once a great empire, Axum is home to fascinating relics and the original Ark of the Covenant.
